Many families consider the school to be for education, the family for nurture, and the church for worship. They are seen as working separately. In reality, these three should be working simultaneously.
Parenting is hard in today’s culture. Schools should be partners with families and churches to develop the spiritual, intellectual, and social development of children. And not work against the parents. There are states that allow students to change their gender at school and not tell the parents what is happening at the school.
Our churches are seeing children on Sunday and maybe on Wednesday. Compare the time they are taught at church to the time they are taught at school. On average a student attends church 5 hours a week and attends school 40 hours a week. No wonder we have trouble with the retention of students and people in church.
